... the Burpee Seed Catalog arrives!!! For those who live in colder climates KNOW that Spring will be coming when the Burpee's Catalog arrives in the mail. When I lived in Minnesota, we PRAYED for the catalog's arrival especially after frigid winters and too much snow. And we also knew that summer would not be far behind.
While the weather is blissfully mild in Colorado compared to Minnesota, I did have to smile the other day when the catalog arrived on the day of our blizzard.
I haven't done any serious veggie gardening since my Minnesota days of yore. I think I will try to plant a small garden this year and see what happens. Wish me luck!
Have fun with a new garden! Even during my childhood in Florida, the Burpee's catalog was a harbinger of spring! My mom was an avid gardener, and loved to look at all the "possibilities."
